Members of the Lamerton Hunt plead ‘not guilty’

The six members of the Lamerton Hunt being prosecuted by the League Against Cruel Sports for S1 Hunting Act offences have entered ‘not guilty’ pleas at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on the 21st November 2014. The defendants were represented by Jamie Foster. Huntsman David Lewis, joint master George Moyse, whipper-in Steve Craddock and terrier men Wayne Bartlett, Stephen Mitchell and Gilmore Lewis are being prosecuted by the League Against Cruel Sports for an alleged incident that took place on the 26th March 2014 when the Lamerton Hunt met at Holdstrong Bungalow near Lydford in Devon. A case management hearing has been set for the 9th January 2015 at Torquay Magistrates’ Court.
