North Wales police have charged the huntsman of the Wynnstay Hunt with two offences of illegal hunting relating to two separate days. One incident allegedly took place in November 2022 near Malpas, Cheshire and the other in January 2022 near Wrexham. On 17/06/2022 Christopher Woodward was formally charged at Wrexham Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded not guilty. The trial relating to both charges is to take place Tuesday 06/09/2022 at 10am at Wrexham Magistrates’ Court.
