Huntsman and joint master of the South Dorset Hunt Mark Anthony Pearson, of Child Okeford, appeared at Weymouth Magistrates Court 08/06/2022 to plead not guilty to one count of hunting a wild mammal with dogs. Pearson, aged 64, is accused of hunting a fox with a dog on13/12/2021 at Bere Down Farm on Bere Down Lane in Bere Regis, Dorset and that the hunting was not exempted by Schedule 1 to the Hunting Act 2004. The defendant is to attend Weymouth Magistrates Court again for trial on 17/10/2022 and 18/10/2022.
